ANGUS – Robert Eugene

ANGUS – Robert Eugene, of Johnstown, died Jan. 21, 2007, on his 75th birthday. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Valley Grace Brethren Church, Route 56, past Armagh, performed by pastor Norris Mason. A luncheon will be served at the church after the service.



BARCZAK – Eugene A.

BARCZAK – Eugene A., 74, Johnstown, died Feb. 6, 2007, at home. Born Nov. 18, 1932, in Johnstown, son of Francis M. and Sophie L. (Kowal) Barczak. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Dolores Miller; and brothers, Edward J. Thomas and Leonard Barczak. Brother of Theresa Fogel, Johnstown; Eleanor Pristow, Florida; Mary Griffith, Johnstown; Helen Mobley, Texas; and Frank Barczak, Johnstown. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A retired maintenance employee of the Greater Johnstown School District and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Eugene was an avid fisherman. A member of First Russian-American Federation and SS. Casimir & Emerich Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. Committal, St. Casimir Cemetery. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where vigil for the deceased will be held Friday evening. Family requests in lieu of flowers, please donate to SS. Casimir & Emerich Church renovation fund in memory of Eugene Barczak.



BLOUGH – Donald Vernon

BLOUGH – Donald Vernon, 76, Johnstown, died Feb. 7, 2007, at Windber Hospice. Born March 14, 1930, in Johnstown, son of late Lloyd A. and Lillian L. (Miller) Blough. Preceded in death by sister, Mary Wentz, and stepson, M. Sgt. James Miller. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Louise (Hesketh), and these children: Donald Blough Jr. and wife, Tina (Carino), and Deborah Miranda, both of Johnstown; Robert Blough, and wife, Peggy (Rullman), Irwin; Diane (Miller), wife of Jim Unger, York; Vicky (Miller), wife of Kent Copenhaver, Dover, Pa.; Dale Miller, and wife, Sandra (Faust), York; Sgt. Jeffrey Miller, and wife, Meg (Bartlett), U.S. Army, Hawaii; Kimberly (Miller), wife of Tim McQuaide, Johnstown; Robert Miller, and Carol of Akron, Ohio; and William Miller of Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethen. Mr. Blough was employed as an inspector at the wire mill of Bethlehem Steel Corp. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, send donations in his name to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963. Arrangements are entrusted to the Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Dale.
