CARROLLTOWN — DURON – Richard P., 35, Carrolltown, died July 17, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident. Born July 17, 1978, in Altoona, son of Richard A. and Patricia (Seymour) Duron. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Paul and Rita Seymour; paternal grandmother, Elaine Duron; and uncle, Dave Roman. Survived by parents, Cresson; wife, Amy (Clark), whom he married October 2004; children, Alexis, Richard “Richie” and Annabelle; siblings, Jennifer Hagens (Jeff) and Nathan; and nieces and nephews, Jacob Duron; Emily and Elijah Hagens; and Brianna, Alyson and Hailey Clark. Also survived by mother- and father-in-law, Lew and Linda Clark, Ebensburg; brother-in-law, John Clark (Darcie); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A 1996 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson. He worked with Dave Alexander Construction Co., Ebensburg. Member of Gallitzin Sportsmen’s Association. He was an outstanding father, son, brother, friend and worker. He also was a coach for the Carrolltown Crushers girl’s softball team and Carrolltown Red T-ball team. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, the Rev. Paul M. Robine. Committal, St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Gallitzin.
