JENNERSTOWN — MOSKEY – Ronald E. Sr., 75, Jennerstown, died Dec. 9, 2013, at home. Born Sept. 12, 1938, in Boswell, son of Alexander M. Sr. and Anna (Mosney) Moskey. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 48 years, former Patricia A. Shaffer, March 16, 2007; infant son, Kevin; and brothers, Robert, Alex Jr. “Skitts” and Richard “Auntick.” Survived by son, Ronald E. Jr., Jenner Township; daughter, Shelley, and friend, Jay Ferguson, Berlin; and granddaughters, Gabreanna and Shawnee Moskey. Brother of Dolores, widow of Walter Wiendenhoft; Donald “Muck,” married to Carol Leply; Theodore; and Shirley, wife of Mario Betta. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Peggy Moskey and Frieda Moskey; uncle, Pete Mosky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Served in the U.S. Army. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Somerset, and Boswell Post 461 American Legion. Retired employee of Highland Tank. Visitation from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, the Rev. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, officiating.
