SIDMAN — BEYER – Richard O., 87, Sidman, died Dec. 1, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born Nov. 26, 1926, in Sidman,  son of Marcellus V. and Anna C. (Senft) Beyer.  Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Leroy J.; son, Jody L.; sister, Anna “Jeannie” Duffy; and brothers, Modestus J., Vincent and Herman.  Survived by loving wife, Marlene (Croyle) Beyer, Sidman; sons, Richard L., Summerhill, and George, Sidman; grandchildren, Andrea, fiancee of Tim Lochmann, Midlothian, Va., and Brandon, married to Angie Garlena, Sidman; siblings, Dolores Taylor, Altoona; Martha Sedlmyer, Las Vegas, Nev.; Edward, Sidman; Patricia Cochran, Las Vegas; Robert, Sidman; and Shirley Watanabe, Maui, Hawaii;  and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather who had a  passion for farming.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Thomas Moore and Father Leroy Beyer.  Interment, South Fork Cemetery. (
