Dorothy Lorraine Leech

WESTMINSTER — LEECH – Dorothy Lorraine, 86, Westminster, formerly of Johnstown, died Oct. 11, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born Jan. 26, 1926, in Timblin, daughter of the late Marlin J. Sr., and Mary Rose Miller Weber. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Leech. Surviving by daughter and son-in-law, Nanciann and Jonathan Cherry, Toledo, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel C. and Lucia M. Lech, Sykesville; siblings, Janet Freeling, Leechburg; James Weber, Elizabethtown; and Marlin J. Weber, Johnstown; granddaughter, Kristin Boes, Columbus, Ohio;  sister-in-law, Helen Lech; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Samuel R. Weber, Mary Elizabeth Gerard and Marlin Jay Weber. She graduated from the Indiana Hospital School of Nursing. She had been a registered nurse for Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, then worked in a doctor’s office. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  Wednesday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where a vigil will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Father Angelo Patti, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
