John Fallet

CASSANDRA — FALLET – John, 81, Cassandra, passed away Oct. 15, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 9, 1931, in McDalton, Somerset County, son of  Michael and Anna (Hollop) Fallet-Peterchak. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Irene (Kunish) Fallet; daughter, Sherry Ann Fallet; sisters, Anne Wertz and Julia Fisher; and brothers-in-law, Ben Wertz and Joe Fisher. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Lois (George) Fallet; and children, Marion Cerwensky, Bunker Hill, W.Va.; Michelle, wife of Steve Pantagas; Rossville, Ga.; Brian Fallet, Pittsburgh; and Billie, wife Brian  (Biz) Bisaha, Portage. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jeff Clutter; Steven, Craig and Michael Pantagas; Jonathan and Joseph Fallet; and Alex Marie Bisaha. Also survived by his godson, Jamie Jerosky. A U.S. Air Force veteran of Korean War. Retired from Bethlehem Steel after 35 years service. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Past president of Cassandra Borough Council. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church, Portage, Father James Spontak, celebrant. Committal, SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Portage.
