NORTHERN CAMBRIA — FENICK – John, 99, Northern Cambria, passed away Oct. 29, 2012, at Golden Living Center, HAIDA. Born July 22, 1913, in Spangler, son of Joseph and Mary (Graycar) Fenick. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Ivalo L. (Biss) Fenick, who died Sept. 22, 1994; brothers, Nick, Paul, Joe, Steve, Pat and Tom Fenick; and sisters, Mary Vodzak and Julia and Ann Fenick.  John was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A World War II Navy veteran, and former member of Spangler VFW Post 7503 and American Legion Post 569, where he served as steward for many years. Former member of LOOM, Hastings. Member of Prince of Peace Church. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Chapel, Father Larry Lacovic, officiating. Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
