In addition to farming, Frank taught himself mechanics, construction, electricity and other trades needed to run the farm. Hunting was his special hobby, and he especially enjoyed his hunting trips out west. He pioneered aviation in its early days in this area and owned his own airplane. He was always ready and able to help family, friends and neighbors. His beautiful voice, contagious smile and unforgettable blue eyes sparkled with life until his last breath.
