SEWARD — ELLSWORTH – Albon S. “Butch,” 81, Seward, passed away peacefully at home Sept. 10, 2013. Born May 29, 1932, in Johnstown, son of late Charles A. and Edna Claire (Shirie) Ellsworth. Also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Charles Ellsworth, and wife, Bessie; Walter C. Ellsworth, and wife, Rosie; Helen R. Benshoff, and husband, William; and Olive F. Adams, and husband, Howard. Survived by wife of 50 1/2 years, Gloria J. (Dunmire) Ellsworth; children, Howard C. Dunmire; Sherrl A. (Dumire) Calik, and husband, Richard; Harold E. “Bo” Ellsworth; Debra L. Ellsworth; and Donna J. (Ellsworth) DeWitt; and husband; Stewart; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A U.S. Army veteran who also served for many years in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Life member of New Florence VFW Post 7622 and Charles Sutton American Legion Post 128, Bolivar. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown Plant, with 30 1/2 years of service. He was the last serving member of his immediate family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kenneth A Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev.
