James Sanford LaJudice

AKRON, OHIO — LaJUDICE – James Sanford “Sam,” “Sonny,” 71, passed away April 22, 2013, at home. Sam was born in Cresson, son of the late Philip and Regina (Scanlon) LaJudice, and lived in Akron, Ohio, since 1965.  He was a faithful member of Christ the King and Blessed Trinity parishes.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for 35 years for F.C. Machine Tool and Design, retiring in 1999. Along with his parents, Sam is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Stasko, and brothers, Anthony and Duane LaJudice.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Anna Marie; children, Joseph (Nancy) LaJudice and Annette (Dean) Johnson; grandchildren, Olivia, Matthew, Gabrielle and Suzanna LaJudice and Crystal and Craig Johnson; brothers, Kevin (Ida), Pep (Carol) and Bobby (Annie) LaJudice; sisters, Cora (Roy) Davis and Theresa (Jim) Sutt; and many nieces and nephews.Sam’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Summa for their care and support over the last 28 months. Visitation will be  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, Father Joseph Warner, celebrant.  Sam’s final resting place will be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
