SOUTH FORK — MARTIN – James C., 69, South Fork, died May 20, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 10, 1944, in South Fork, son of Richard and Catherine (Lentine) Martin. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Angelo and Joseph. Survived by wife, Jean L. (Noon), South Fork; children, Diana Mundok, South Fork; Donna, wife of Scott Thornton, Enola; James J., married to Sally (Lermineau), South Fork; LeeAnn, wife of Brian Owens, Sidman; Jill, wife of Nick Jorich, Camp Hill; Craig, South Fork; and Jason, married to Mary Ann Jenkins, Windber; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Jennie Walukas, South Fork; Mary Mihalic, Tallahassee, Fla.; Rose Ruud, Fargo, N.D.; Angeline Reitz, Akron, Ohio; Sam, St. Michael; Catherine Schlabig, Akron, Ohio; and Sarah West, Chillicothe, Ill.; also sister-in-law, Dolores “Toots” Martin, South Fork. Jim worked for Barnes & Tucker, Pennsylvania Mines Corps., Greenwich Collieries Mine in Indiana County, and then retired as a mine foreman from AMFIRE Mining, LLC. He loved going to camp at Raystown with all his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his family. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday by Father Robert P. Reese. Committal, South Fork Cemetery. (
