Patricia Lohr (Hileman) Stoskey

EPHRATA — STOSKEY – Patricia Lohr (Hileman), 72, Ephrata, Lancaster County, passed away July 7, 2010, at Ephrata Hospital. Born May 15, 1938, in Cristobal, Panama Canal Zone, to Russell E. and Virginia L. (Tuck) Hileman, but was raised by her uncle and aunt, Walter and Edythe (Hileman) Von Alt in Johnstown. Preceded in death by both sets of parents; stepmother, Bernice (Wood) Hileman; brother, Gregg Hileman; sister-in-law, Peggy Wood; and brother-in-law, Paul Gideon. Survived by beloved and devoted husband of 18 years, David M.; and children, Robyn (Lohr), married to Douglas Snavely, and their son, Ryan; Eric Lohr, married to the former Gretchen Oswald, and children, Devon, Ian, Briana and Wyatt; and Scott Lohr, married to the former Mary Fatula, and children, Justine, Braydon and Faith. Also survived by sister, Carol Gideon, Arizona; and stepbrother, John Wood, California. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick and Colette Miller, Friedens; Norman Reikard, Marietta, Pa.; Patrick and Kathy Gentile, New Bern, N.C.; Michael and JoAnne Stoskey, Johnstown; and Andrew and Mary-Claire Muzzie, Windber; also many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved dearly. Patricia was a 1956 graduate of Johnstown High School and before moving to Lancaster County was employed in the office of Acme Markets and the advertising sales office of WCRO radio, Gleason Insurance Agency, and was manager of Saving Your Dollar Shopper. She was a member of the board of directors of United Cerebral Palsy, and also the Christian Home. She was a member of Johnstown Quota Club and past president of Parents Without Partners. After moving to Lancaster County, she was employed by Del Toyota, Stauffer Mechanical Services and TW Metals. After retiring, Pat enjoyed planning her gardens, visiting family and friends and was an avid reader. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Jack Rupert. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Donations in her name can be made to John Henderson Co. Funeral Home to defray memorial expenses.
