Mrs. Jennie P. Teklinsky

WINDBER — TEKLINSKY – Mrs. Jennie P., 79, Windber, passed away peacefully surrounded by family March 13, 2014, at UPMC Altoona. Born Nov. 5, 1934, in Windber, daughter of John and Pauline (Prandi) Navarro. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Mary Ellen; son, Michael; and brother, John “Poncho” Navarro. Survived by husband of 57 years, Norbert; son, Joseph, and wife, Karen (Toki), Windber; grandchildren, Bronko and Rocco Teklinsky and Ellen Ann Teklinsky; siblings, Thomas Navarro, and wife, Donna; Pauline Deluca, and Joe Jerley; and Rose Clark, all of Windber. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jennie owned her own barbershop and cherished the company and friendship of her customers. She was always willing to help others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of her loved ones. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.
