RICHLAND — PARK – Neil I.H., M.D., FACOG, 72, Richland, passed away Nov. 12, 2013, at home. Born Feb. 13, 1941, in Seoul, Korea, son of Sung and Ki Bok (Kim) Park. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving wife, Julie S. Park; children, Julie Unmee Park, M.D., and husband, Michael Ludkowski, M.D., Greenville, S.C.; and Michael W. Park, MBA, Pittsburgh; and grandchildren, Nicolas and Isabella Ludkowski; brother, IL Choong Park; sisters, Young Sil Yoon, Young Ja Oh, Young Sook Kown and Young Hee Ryu; also nieces, nephews and their children. Graduate of Yonsei Medical School in Seoul, Korea, in 1966, then moved to USA that year. He did his OB-GYN residency in Baltimore, Md. He then moved his family to Windber, where he had his OB-GYN private practice at Windber Medical Center for 40 years. He became board certified OB-GYN 1976. He was elected as a fellow of American College of OB-GYN in 1977. He served on the Windber Medical Center board of directors for 20 years until he retired in 2007. Member of Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Medical Association for 40 years. Also a member of Windber Country Club, where he served on the board. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral service will be held for close friends and family at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Lee Sung Mouk, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, in memory of Dr. Neil Park.
