Bonnie G. Frazer

SOUTH FORK — FRAZER – Bonnie G., 78, South Fork, went to be with the Lord Oct. 14, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born Aug. 5, 1935, in South Fork, daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Bumford) Wise. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Gaylord; and grandson, Lucas Matthew Chunta. Survived by loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Richard H. Frazer, whom she married Jan. 24, 1957; children, Kerry, wife of Keith Rager, Salix; Kelly, wife of Joe Barnouski, Sidman; Karen, wife of Donald Moss, Salix; Richard, married to Lynn George, Mount Hope; and Kristy, wife of Robert Chunta, Salix; grandchildren, Eric and Matt Rager, both of Pittsburgh; Leah Rager, U.S. Navy, UK; Sam Barnouski, married to Alicia Blessing, Carlisle; Kayla Barnouski, wife of Jesse Garshnick, Armagh; Tessa Barnouski, wife of Kody Hill; Travis Moss; Megan, Erika and Tim Frazer; and Mitchell and Julia Chunta; great-grandchildren, Josef and Hailey Garshnick and Drew and Landon Barnouski; in-laws, Bill and Betty Frazer, Dave and Kelly Frazer, Ruth and Chuck Louder, Bob and Diane Frazer, Paul and Ellen Frazer and Clarence Duke; and numerous nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends. Bonnie was a 1953 graduate of South Fork Croyle High School. In 1956, she graduated from Conemaugh Valley School of Nursing and began her 44-year career as an RN for Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Member of South Fork United Methodist Church, where she was active with the Ladies Philathea Sunday school class, sang in the choir, played piano for the men’s Sunday school class and was a Rainbow Girl. Bonnie was a league bowler with the Alley Cats for more than 25 years. She enjoyed going to their cabin, fishing on the boat, knitting, crocheting, puzzles, reading, watching the Steelers and her favorite shows and hosting parties to entertain her friends while they played “Joker.” Bonnie was a devout Christian who touched the lives of everyone she met. She adored her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was most happy simply creating memories with her family and loved ones. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. Viewing will be held at First United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John Weaver. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
