Winnie Bonora

COLVER — BONORA – Winnie, 81, Colver, passed away Oct. 28, 2013. Born Sept. 18, 1932, in Colver, daughter of the late Edward Charles and Catherine (Auton). Preceded in death by husband, Rudy (Sept. 6, 1991); and siblings, William, David and Ruth Ann. Survived by daughter, Julie, wife of Max Pavlovich, Johnstown; son, Edward “Ted” Bonora, Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Megan (Vassanelli), wife of Alan Tresnicky, Johnstown; Mary Pavlovich, Baltimore, Md.; and Lindsay and Max R. Pavlovich, at home; and great-grandchildren, Chase and Brynn Tresnicky. Graduate of the former Ebensburg-Cambria High School (1950) and Windber School of Nursing (1953). Winnie proudly worked as an R.N. at Colver Hospital under Dr. A.D. Martin. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Dr. Stanley Bhasker, officiating. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of other memorials, please make donations to Country Manor Living Activities Fund, 170 Phillips St., Jerome, Pa. 15937.
