LOVELAND, OHIO — CUMMINGS – Patrick, 55, Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Johnstown, died June 27, 2012, in New York. Born July 11, 1956, in Johnstown, son of Charles and Dolores (Gresik) Cummings. Pat was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Charles Jr. He is survived by his mother, and brother, Michael, both of Johnstown. Pat was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School, where he played on the 1972-73 basketball team that went 25-1. After high school, Pat continued his basketball career at the University of Cincinnati, where he was an All-American and his field goal shooting percentage of .642 in 1979 remains the school record. Pat was drafted in 1979 by the Milwaukee Bucks and went on to play 12 years in the NBA, ending up with the Utah Jazz before finishing his career in CBA. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where funeral service will he held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19.
