EASTLAKE, OHIO — MEHALL – Evan, 74, Eastlake, Ohio, formerly of South Fork, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Lake Health West Medical Center, Willoughby, Ohio. Born Aug. 13, 1938, in Johnstown, son of Frances and Evan Mehall. Mr. Mehall had worked as a foreman at the former Bailey Controls, Wickliffe, Ohio. Member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Willowick, Ohio. Evan was a very giving man and was generous to several charities and people. He enjoyed football and was a Steelers fan and enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years with his brothers and friends. Survived by daughters, Samantha (Matt Savitt) Mehall, Euclid, Ohio; Timothianne (Joe) Matsko, North Royalton, Ohio; and Michaelanne (Wayne) Smith, Mississippi; grandchildren, Todd, Nathan, Joseph, Adam, Sydney and Collin; brother, Dave (Darlene) Mehall, Geneva, Ohio; nieces, Kimmy and Michelle; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Frank and Carl; sister, Francis “Sis” Barish; and an infant brother. Mass was held Jan. 11 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick, Ohio. Final resting place will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio 44057.
