Ted Thomas Sr.

WINDBER — THOMAS – Ted “George” Sr., 72, Windber, passed away quietly Jan. 19, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born July 7, 1940, in Johnstown, son of Lewis and Pearl Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Vera. Survived by loving wife and soul mate of 50 years, Judith A. (Harr) Thomas; these children, Tedd G. Thomas; Todd G. Thomas, and fiancee, Stephanie Hodge; Brandon Thomas, and wife, Paula; and Michelle, wife of Mark Tomlinson; and grandchildren, Kayla, Hanna, Dylan, Ryan, Ian, Amanda, Ashley and Shabree. Brother of Robert, MaryLou, Joyce, David and Rick. Member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church, Johnstown. Ted was a loving husband, father, pap and brother who will be missed greatly. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, good friend and Pastor Earl Crissman, officiating.  Interment, Ogletown Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at 541 Railroad St., Windber, Pa, 15963.  (
