CRESSON — Le-FORT – Gerald “Baldy,” 65, Cresson, died Feb. 11, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 10, 1947, in St. Michael, son of Kenneth Sr., and Olive (Costlow) Le-Fort. Preceded in death by parents; infant daughter, Lori Ann; and brother, Kenneth Jr. Survived by loving wife of 17 years, Patricia (Salkeld) Le-Fort, whom he married Feb. 14, 1995; children, George (Lisa) Dolby, Mahaffey; Patty Davis, Cresson; Frank (Becky) Zevorich and Brian (Suzy) Zevorich, both of Sidman; and Stephen Zevorich, Cresson; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda, wife of George Bertram, Cresson; and Thelma, wife of Gary Blough, Dunlo; mother-in-law, June Gallaher, Northern Cambria; daughter-in-law, Tia Zevorich, Johnstown; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; also best friends, Chris and Terri Boback. Gerald was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Richland American Legion Post 849. He was a former driver for Brink Trucking Inc., Ebensburg. A loving husband and caring Pappy, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Dr. Frank Brosius of First Christian Church, Ebensburg.
