Francis L. Feyock

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — FEYOCK – Francis L. “Premo,” 83, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord June 4, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 25, 1930, in South Fork, son of Frank and Edith (DeCarlo) Feyock. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Joan M. (Stark) Feyock; and sister, Pauline Turchetta; also brothers-in-law, Tony Turchetta and Bob McGowan Sr. Survived by his loving children, Mary Jo, wife of John C. Luszik, Richland Township; Debbie J., wife of Ed Carmack, Richland Township; Francis P., married to Christina Gatehouse, Westmont; Dave H., married to the former Cynthia L. Maxwell, Windber; and Ann L., wife of Stephen A. Klonicki, Mount Joy, Pa.; grandchildren, John, Vince “Vinny” (Julie) and Mike (Denisia) Luszik; Ed, Laurie and Joey Carmack; Anthony (Anna), Danny, Stephanie (Chris), Zeke and Dakota “Cody” Feyock; and Addy, Emily, Dominic and Joshua Klonicki; great-grandchildren, Sammy, Bentley, Audrina and Ryan; sister, Norie McGowan, Richland Township; brother, John D. (Carol) Feyock, East Petersburg, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; and friend, Ann Licastro. Premo was a 1949 graduate of Cresson High School; a 1953 graduate of Brooke Army Medical School of X-Ray, San Antonio, Texas; and a 1955 graduate of Eckels School of Mortuary Science, Philadelphia. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. Premo was employed at the former Stephen J. Conway Funeral Home, Johnstown, and also at Guido Santella Funeral Home, Altoona. He later was self-employed in safety and mine equipment. He was a manager and purchasing agent of Berwind Machine and Repair Shop, from where he retired. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, building furniture and cutting his grass on his tractor. Premo was very proud of his Italian heritage and really enjoyed gatherings with his entire family, especially with his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Father David S. Peles, pastor. Committal, St. Anthony Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. The family suggests contributions be directed to St. Benedict Catholic Church Building Fund, 2310 Bedford St., Johnstown, Pa. 15904, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, in memory of Francis.
