Robin L. Quillon | Jesus wants us to do the right thing

(Continued)

JOHNSTOWN — But “WWJD” is an important question we face every day as we stand at the crossroads of decisions. It is an especially poignant question as we are poised to celebrate the birth of the very one represented in these letters?

So how shall we answer this question of “WWJD?”

I think I saw the answer as plain as day at church not too long ago. A teenager had a ring on her finger which had the initials “CTR” engraved on it. Which, she told me, stood for “Choose The Right.”

I suppose if she were wearing the wristband bearing  “WWJD” and the ring bearing the letters “CTR” at the same time, she could proclaim, asked and answered!

I know for myself that Jesus is the Christ and the Savior of the world. His life was one of perfect example. And as we celebrate his birth and life this Christmas season, may each of us respond to the question of “WWJD?” by deciding to “CTR!”

I wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and happy New Year!
