ANN ARBOR, Mich. — High School Girls

Conemaugh Township 30, North Star 27: In Boswell, the Indians’ Gabby Williams scored a game-high 11 points to help edge the cougars.  Conemaugh Township’s Megan Boyer had eight points in the win.

North Star’s Kayla Rice led the team with seven points. 

Windber 67, Ferndale 43: Kortney Lampel scored 18 points, Kaitlyn Weaver had 14, and Sam Pcola scored 10 as visiting Windber beat Ferndale.

Lampel had 21 rebounds for a double-double, and Weaver had eight assists for the Ramblers.

Ferndale’s Lauren Olshewsky had 14 points. Cassandra Vivis had 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Kayla Ohler grabbed 21 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets.

Shade-Central City 48, Meyersdale 33: In Meyersdale, Shade-Central City’s Emma Spinelli had a dominating performance with a game-high 28 points to help beat Meyersdale.

The Panthers improved their record to 9-2 on the season.

Meyersdale’s Jackie McKenzie led the team with nine points in the loss.

Portage 73, Blacklick Valley 30: In Nanty Glo,  Portage’s Olivia McCabe scored a game-high 19 points to help the Mustangs blow past the Vikings in a WestPAC victory. 

The Mustangs’ Lexi Wozniak had seven steals and scored 18 points. Portage’s Emily Chobany tallied 14 points in the win. 

Blacklick Valley’s Allison Thomas led the team with 10 points in the loss.

High School Boys

Marion Center 60, United 38: In Armagh, Marion Center’s Jake Bothell scored a game-high 19 points to help beat United in a Heritage Conference matchup. 

The Stingers’ Todd Fetsko scored 19 points in the win. 

Marion Center now has an 8-4 record. 

The Lions’ Blake Brendlinger scored eight points in the loss.
