St. Francis 81, Bryant 76: At Loretto, St. Francis opened its Northeast Conference schedule with a win over Bryant in DeGol Arena.

Alli Williams posted a career-high 30 points for the Red Flash (6-6, 1-0) as St. Francis held off a late charge from the Bulldogs (4-7, 0-1).

Bryant was led by Naan Ankoma-Mensa, who led the Bulldogs with 25 points and a game-high 22 rebounds. Nickia Gibbs tied a season-high with 15 points for St. Francis and freshman teammate Brooklyn Taylor had a career-high 11 off the bench.

The Red Flash return play host to Central Connecticut State on Monday.

Mount Aloysius 71, Hilbert 66: At Cresson, Lindsey Sammarco scored 22 points and Becky Bard had 19 to help lift Mount Aloysius over Hilbert.

Teddi Burkett grabbed 17 rebounds for the Mounties.

Jessica Jamison’s 20 points led the visitors, who got 13 points from Sarah Lorusso, 12 by Natalie Whitman and 10 off Jenah Labuski, who also had 10 rebounds.

Mount Aloysius shot nearly 30 percent from the field (23 of 78) and 20 of 32 from the foul line while Hilbert sank 27 of 68 field-goal attempts (39.7 percent) and made 4 of 6 free throws. Each team had 41 rebounds.
