Pitt-Johnstown’s Warner honored: Pitt-Johnstown junior second baseman Jake Warner earned first-team honors for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association of America All-Atlantic Region and Daktronics All-District II.

A two-time selection to the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team, Warner led UPJ in batting average (.420), hits (74), runs (46), RBI (40) and totals bases (99). His batting average ranked seventh in Division II.

Pitt-Johnstown junior catcher Kyle Morrow and junior outfielder Zach Vignero, a Johnstown native, were each honorable mention all-region selections.

Morrow hit .350 with eight doubles, four home runs and 31 RBI in addition to scoring 35 runs. Vignero batted .403 with 14 doubles, three triples, three home runs and 29 RBI.
