The Johnstown Tomahawks traded returning forward JB Baker to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday for future considerations.
The 18-year-old forward had nine goals, 19 points and 58 penalty minutes in 58 games with the Tomahawks last season.
“We hated to let him go. We have a lot of people here,” Tomahawks coach Jason Spence said. “He was sought after and brought a significant return (from Rio Grande Valley). Maybe a change of scenery will benefit him.”
The move came after forward Cody Gylling rejoined the Tomahawks from the USHL.
