Associated Press

RIDGWAY State police say a western Pennsylvania man riding a lawn mower has been killed in a traffic accident.

Police say 55-year-old Roger Davis, of West Newton, was driving the mower on a road in Spring Creek Township in Elk County. Police say the mower was hit by a pickup truck heading in the same direction shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Police say Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by Elk County Coroner Lou Radkowski. The pickup driver was not injured.
