Woman killed when grill falls on her at Pa. diner

NEW OXFORD — State police say a woman was killed when a large grill fell on her as she was working at a diner in central Pennsylvania.

The Evening Sun reports the accident happened Tuesday afternoon at the Keystone Diner in New Oxford, Adams County. Police say 56-year-old Sophia Paterakis was working in a storage area when the grill, which was leaning against the wall and not in use, fell on her.

The New Oxford woman was flown to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The death has been ruled accidental.
