1 hurt in crash

DAVIDSVILLE — One person was hurt Friday in a one-vehicle crash, said police in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County.

Kenneth Adams, 64, of Bos­well, was driving a dump truck filled with coal south on Route 219 when his brakes failed on the Davidsville exit ramp about 8:15 p.m. The truck crossed both lanes of Route 403, struck a guardrail and went into a creek, police said.

A passenger was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Adams was not hurt, police said.
