Joelle Coakley, Austin Greenland II
Joelle Sue Coakley and Austin McAllister Greenland II were married May 24, 2008, at Westmont Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Douglas W. Stevens performed the double-ring Scottish wedding.
The bride is the daughter of William and Susan Coakley of Basking Ridge, N.J.
The groom is the son of Austin M. and Patricia Greenland of Bedford, formerly of Westmont.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Jennifer Stackhouse of Philadelphia as matron of honor.
Jeff Connors of Golden, Colo., was the best man.
Ushers were Scott Hayward, brother-in-law of the bride; Andrew Hayward, nephew of the bride; and Gordon Smith.
John P. Baker, grandfather of the groom, and Kelly Hayward, niece of the bride, read Scripture.
Shawn Gority of Altoona was the bagpiper.
A reception was held at Green Gables Restaurant in Jennerstown.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Richmond, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Colorado, where she received a master’s degree in urban and regional planning.
She is a regional planner employed by Southern Wind-sor County Regional Planning Commission in Ascutney, Vt.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 1999 graduate of Gettysburg College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration.
In 2006, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Regis University, Denver, Colo.
He is a financial adviser employed by TDNorth Banking System in Woodstock, Vt.
The newlyweds reside in Taftsville, Vt.
