Melissa Blumentritt, Joshua Sroka

Melissa Blumentritt and Joshua Sroka were married Sept. 19, 2009, at Lansdowne Resort, Leesburg, Va.

A double-ring ceremony was performed.

The bride is the daughter of Floyd and Kathy Hovis of Leesburg, Va.

The groom is the son of Robert Sroka and Karen Sroka, both of Johnstown.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Lauren Hovis, as maid of honor.

Matthew Sroka was his brother’s best man.

A reception was held at Lansdowne Resort.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.

The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University.

She is employed by Education Options as an account manager.

The groom is a graduate of Penn State.

He is employed by Ryan Homes as a project manager.

The newlyweds reside in Aldie, Va.
