Anne Makosy, Christopher Shelby

JOHNSTOWN — Anne Elizabeth Makosy and Christopher Milo Shelby were married Aug. 3, 2013, at Bedford Springs, in a double-ring ceremony performed by The Honorable Judge David J. Tulowitzki. 

The bride is the daughter of Sue and Jack Makosy of Ebensburg.

The groom is the son of Judy and Chris Shelby of Allison Park, Allegheny County.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Kayt Williamson, as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Shelby, Sarah Shelby and Julia Shelby, all sisters of the groom.

Art West was the best man.

Groomsmen were Brandon Schantz, Kevin Burkhardt and Tim Williamson.

Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Hawaii.

The bride, a 2007 graduate of Penn State, is a teacher at Fox Chapel Country Day School.

The groom, a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, is a financial analyst employed by Wilshire Associates.

The newlyweds reside in Pittsburgh.
