Laura Clarry, William Bent

JOHNSTOWN — Laura Marie Clarry and William Bradley Bent were married May 11, 2013, at Trinity College Chapel at the University of Toronto.

The Rev. Susan E. Haig performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Clarry of Pickering, Ontario, and the late James Donald Clarry.

The groom is the son of William H. and Diana Bent of Johnstown.

Presented in marriage by her mother, the bride was attended by Andrea Clarry, sister of the bride, as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Megan Clumpus, cousin of the bride; Emily Field; and Megan Montag.

Bryan Bent, brother of the groom, was the best man.

Groomsmen were Steve Guydo, Brandon McCreary and Michael Montag.

Ushers were Brett Kelly, Dane Kelly, Drew Kelly and Scott Clumpus, cousins of the bride.

A candle of remembrance, in loving memory of James Donald Clarry, was lit by Laura Clarry and Andrea Clarry.

Lisa Kelly, aunt of the bride, and Elaine Marsh, aunt of the groom, were the Scripture readers.

The organist was Rachel Mahon.

A reception was held at Strachan Hall at the University of Toronto.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Dunbarton High School, Pickering, and a 2009 graduate of the University of Toronto.

In 2010, she earned a master’s degree in French education from Medaille College, Buffalo, N.Y.

She is a French and history teacher in Pittsburgh.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Richland High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

He is an engineering manager for Valsper Corp., Pittsburgh.

The newlyweds reside in Cranberry Township.
