Mandy Nemeth, Jason Kurtz

JOHNSTOWN — Mandy Lynn Nemeth and Jason Scott Kurtz were married June 29, 2013, at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown.

The Rev. Bernard Karmonocky performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nemeth Sr. of Johnstown.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Domenick Kurtz Sr. of Johnstown.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Jodi Noon and Jeanette Monteith as matrons of honor.

Bridesmaids were Missy Murnin, sister-in-law of the bride; Kristen Kalinoski, sister of the groom; Christy Smith, cousin of the bride; Caroline Boughton; Christina Albertelli; Kellie Hoffman; and Andrea Smith, cousin of the bride.

Jeremy Kurtz and Domenick Kurtz Jr., brothers of the groom, were the best men.

Groomsmen were Bill Nemeth Jr., brother of the bride; Richard Messina; Gregg McVicker, cousin of the groom; Thomas Cushing; William Bracken; Shawn Noon; and Jacob Nemeth, son of the bride.

Kacey Kalinoski, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.

Andrew Kalinoski, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.

A reception was held at Christ the Saviour Educational Center, Johnstown.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and Pitt-Johnstown.

She is a teacher employed by the Greater Johnstown School District.

The groom is a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and Pitt-Johnstown.

He is a teacher employed by the Greater Johnstown School District.

The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
