Kristine Honkus and JR Irwin were married March 23, 2013, at East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Mark Whitsel, pastor at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Tina Honkus of Hooversville.
The groom is the son of Jim and Melinda Irwin of Meadville, Crawford County.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her aunt, Sharon Honkus, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julie Miller; Jenna Summerville; Stacey Burnosky,
cousin of the bride; Alison Cobb, sister of the groom; Kristin Dudek; and Bethany Cypher.
Jim Irwin, father of the groom, was the best man.
Ushers were Justin Genovese; Justin Honkus, cousin of the bride; Dave Adams, uncle of the groom; TJ Isenberg; Alex Chimelewski; and Jason Cypher.
Victoria Handerick and Emersyn Cobb, were the flower girls.
Clay Adams was the ringbearer.
A dinner and reception were held at the Aquarium in the Pittsburgh Zoo.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Penn State.
She is an account manager employed by International Financial Group.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He is a manager employed by Red Lobster, Pittsburgh.
The bride and groom are candidates for master’s degrees at the University of Phoenix.
The newlyweds reside in Pittsburgh.
