Sarah Noelle Kozak and John Thomas Mihalic were married Aug. 25, 2012, at the J. Irving Whalley Memorial Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown campus.
The Rev. Larry Rowe performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Linda Kozak of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Stephanie Mihalic of Windber.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her cousins, Amy Pleskovic and Lesley Ropp, as bridesmaids.
Thomas Mihalic Jr., brother of the groom, and Michael Kozak, brother of
the bride, served as groomsmen.
Michael Filo provided music as both soloist and organist.
A reception was held at the Oakwood Restaurant, Davidsville.
Sarah is a 2010 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she received a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
She is a substitute teacher at various schools throughout the Monroeville area, while pursuing a Master’s Degree at Edinboro University.
John is a 2009 graduate of Penn State University, where he received degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Sciences and Technology. He is employed by EME Associates located in Pittsburgh.
John and Sarah reside in Monroeville.
