JOHNSTOWN — Samantha L. Petak and Tyler G. Stevanus were married June 15, 2013, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.

The Rev. Anthony FrancisSpilka, OFM Conv., performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.

The bride is the daughter of Philip and Monica Petak of Johnstown.

The groom is the son of Robert and Rebecca Stevanus of Johnstown.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Amanda Solomon as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Emmalee Solomon, Katelyne Vogel, Kayla Esch and Ashley Layton.

Nathan Vogel was the best man.

Groomsmen were Brandon Stevanus, Craig Cassick, Philip Petak and Matthew Stevanus.

Shyanne Hillegas and Sophia Hillegas were the flower girls.

Aidan Petak was the ringbearer.

A reception was held at Ace’s, Johnstown.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Mount Aloysius College.

She is an elementary substitute teacher.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School.

He is employed by RNDT Inc. as a metallurgical technician.

The newlyweds reside in Johnstown.
