A Windber man was jailed Monday after police said they found 20 pounds of suspected marijuana and $18,000 cash stemming from a routine traffic stop in Indiana Borough.
Indiana police said they stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of North Fourth Street for numerous equipment violations.
Police said they found a vacuum sealed bag stuffed with $15,000 cash.
Police later obtained a search warrant for a home in the 400 block of Oak Street where they seized money and a 2007 BMW suspected of containing marijuana.
Additional search warrants were issued and police found 20 vacuum- sealed, 1-pound bags of pot in the vehicle.
Police also searched a third vehicle that was seen leaving the Oak Street address and found more marijuana.
In all, police said they seized suspected marijuana with a street value of $115,000.
Aaron Andrew Paul Gmuca, 24, was charged with possession with intent to deliver 20 pounds of marijuana.
Gmuca, a student of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, was arraigned by District Judge Guy Haberl and sent to the Indiana County jail.
Police believe Gmuca was on his way to New Jersey with the drug money.
