Man jailed on charges he killed kids’ mother

ALIQUIPPA — A western Pennsylvania man has been arraigned and jailed on charges that he broke into the home of the mother of his two young children and fatally shot her.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 27-year-old Jasmen Walker, of Aliquippa, who is charged with crimes including criminal homicide and burglary.

Aliquippa police alleged Walker shot 25-year-old Anesha Martin sometime between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday.

Relatives called 911 after they tried calling Martin several times that day and one stopped by to check on her Sunday afternoon.

Police say the woman had three children – two by Walker – who were staying with a relative when she was killed.

Walker faces a preliminary hearing April 22.
