Cambria County jury returns mixed verdict

EBENSBURG — A Cambria County jury returned a mixed verdict on Wednesday in the attempted homicide charge and related charges in the trial of Kevin McGee.

The Johnstown area man opened fire at the Richland Township Police Department on Sept. 13, 2012.

The jury convicted McGee of attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault involving officer John Lucas.

McGee, 46, was acquitted of the same charges involving officer Steve Bray.

McGee will be sentenced June 23.

Bond was revoked.
