Third homicide suspect charged, sought

JOHNSTOWN — A third person has been charged in connection with Sunday’s homicide outside an Oakhurst bar.

Johnstown police are searching for Keith Jerome Reed, 32, of the 1100 block of Ridge Avenue.

He is charged with criminal homicide.

Police said Reed was present when Joshua Nathaniel Cambric, 33, allegedly gun down Tony Phillips, 33, at 7:30 p.m. outside Edder’s Den on North Sheridan Street.

Police said Cambric allegedly fired two shots into a vehicle parked outside the bar. One of the shot struck Phillips who was sitting inside th vehicle. He died of a gunshot wound to the chest. Cambric left the scene in a vehicle driven by Jeremy Travis Woodard, 34, police said.

Witnesses said Reed showed up that night at Oakhurst Homes and insisted that Phillips leave with him.

Reed denied involvement telling police he was inside Edder’s Den when Phillips was shot.

Reed also faces criminal conspiracy to commit homicide, obstruction of law and hindering prosection.

Cambric and Woodard are in the Cambria County Prison.
